It was a hot summer day in Florida. Heat and rain on the forecast (typical Florida of course) but that didn’t matter because these two families were becoming one. It was a cloudy day because of the chance of rain, but that gave us shade and a much needed breeze and thankfully that rain held off. Maria had emailed me months ago after finding me on Instagram. She had just gotten engaged to the love of her life. Maria has two beautiful daughters and Chardo also has one beautiful daughter. These families were becoming one and you could FEEL THE LOVE pouring out of every part of their day.

Before the ceremony, Chardo and Maria wanted to gift the girls with special gifts from each of them. There was not a dry eye in the room. The beautiful words spoken to those precious girls got me right in the heart. Each daughter spoke words to their parents during the ceremony and all blessed the rings with a prayer and kiss. So many meaningful, thought out moments.

It was a pleasure working with the team at The Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida. One of my favorite places! The trees are amazing and the chandeliers in that ballroom are GORGEOUS.
