I am so excited to share my favorites from Hannah + Brandon’s wedding last Friday. There had been a hurricane in the forecast that luckily wasn’t supposed to hit until after the wedding, but I was definitely expecting rain on the wedding day. Hannah was texting me the day before asking if I had a pretty clear umbrella that she could use cause we were certain it would rain at some point… thankfully, it didn’t rain until later in the evening (more on that in a minute). Besides the intense Florida heat int he middle of the day (which I would gladly take over rain) everything turned out beautifully. The wedding was held at the Ever After Farms Peach Barn in Mims, Florida. Hannah was calm and all smiles when I showed up, getting ready with her Mom and sisters. One of my favorite moments of the day is the bride getting into that dress, everyone helping with garter, shoes, veil, jewelry and then that moment when the flowers are handed to her and she is ready. Hannah was STUNNING! Her wedding gown was GORGEOUS and that smile never left her face! Brandon’s face when he saw her for the first time during their first look was PRECIOUS! They also took that moment to exchange gifts with one another. After Brandon got emotional opening his gift from Hannah (see the photos below) I could barely keep it together. I was snapping photos between tears and praying that they turned out, lol!
Right before ceremony the sun went behind the clouds and there was a glorious breeze that was just the perfect amount to keep everyone from sweating 🙂 The intimate ceremony, officiated by a close family friend of the bride, was full of smiles, tears and laughter. I swept away the family to take a few more photos before the reception began, while guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Then the party started! Brandon and Hannah’s friends danced the night away… and then a storm rolled in and knocked the power out of the entire venue!! Besides the light from cell phones and the light from the videographer the place was DARK. Hannah and Brandon’s guests were amazing! They didn’t let the party stop! Hannah’s sister grabbed a blue tooth speaker, the DJ hooked it up to the speaker and the dancing continued! Such a fun night!
